Brush Drawings on Wood

First drawings on wood i made more than ten years ago. It was many different wood types i used then. Pine, birch, maple and oak. Now i have sticked to maple and oak - these have hard wood and can be smoothly polished. While preparing the wood, sanding the surface - the first images start to appear on wood grain. I cut more interesting parts out and stain with light white. When the surface is dry the drawing can begin. I use oil paint diluted with a drop of turpentine and tiny brush.
